Majestic is committed to providing superior risk management service to our policyholders that assists them in reducing their workers’ compensation costs. By providing this valuable service, we continue to build on our strengths in USL&H and specialty risk management programs. Majestic’s risk control consultant will work with your risk management team to coordinate accident prevention efforts.
  1. We will review and evaluate Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) policies and procedures providing necessary recommendations to address operation specific exposures, limit potential hazards and comply with OSHA requirements. We will work with you to develop and implement a mutually beneficial action plan to achieve program goals.
  2. We will make risk control service visits to assist with safety meetings, uncontrolled hazard inspections, ergonomic evaluations and management and employee safety awareness.
  3. We will determine your area of risk control focus after an initial survey and review of your previous loss experience trends evaluating employee safety behavior and incentives, formal program development and commitment, employee screening techniques, supervisory safety management training, uncontrolled hazard surveys and OSHA compliance support.
  4. We will work with you to promote a management risk control culture to strengthen internal safety program efforts including training on management safety responsibilities and employee safety, hazard identification, documentation, corrective action, incident investigation and the impact workers’ compensation cost have on your operation.
  5. We will provide access to safety program and training materials, management reports including claim trending and individual claim status reports via our web site www.majesticinsurance.com.
  6. We will provide safety and training aids including safety meeting topics, risk control bulletins for management, safety videos in Spanish and English and OSHA forms and supporting material.
  7. We will keep you apprised of legislative changes regarding health and safety that have an impact on your operations.
  8. We will meet with you and your broker 60 to 90 days prior to policy renewal to review and evaluate risk control services and identify mutually agreed upon future service objectives.
